I have been part of the equine world since I was roughly six years old, when I first began to ride. I learned more and more about the beautiful creatures as I grew up with them. I fell ever so deeply in love with everything about these stunning beasts; their personality, their charm, their wisdom, and especially their heart. They are intimate and personal. They are completely open, trusting, honest, and loyal. They are gentle and kind, but remain bold and fierce all the same.
Through this series of grayscale images, I hope to share these heartfelt experiences with others. I aim to show and connect others to this amazing world, my second home and personal safe haven. And I aim to provide justice and express my great appreciation towards these wonderful animals; without whom, I would not be the person I am today.
